Mission Statement

At the Community Learning Council, we blend education and counseling together to offer help and hope to those in the communities we serve.

We believe that a culture of well-informed and equipped individuals, families, students and workers are better prepared to accomplish their goals and achieve success.

CLC Receives CASA Award

The Community Learning Council was presented the “Friend of CASA Award” at the CASA Annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony held on March 28th, at the State Capitol. This Award is given to an individual or organization that has shown a lifelong dedication to children and provided support and inspiration to the CASA of Oklahoma County program. The Community Learning Council wishes to thank CASA for this generous honor and Award. We look forward to being a Friend of CASA for a very long time. Thank You! CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers advocate for abused or neglected children in the juvenile court system.

Choose Success

CLC's Choose Success program works in conjunction with shelters in Oklahoma by offering, not only life skills training and domestic violence education, but as an adjunct to the many services shelters provide by incorporating work-related skills workshops to promote Success for survivors.
